How is Sunbubs unique?

Sunbubs is the only company in Australia that provides early learning centres with kids’ t-shirts that are tested and approved by ARPANSA.

A regular white cotton t-shirt provides a low UPF protection of 5-7. Sunbubs t-shirts are UPF 50+ and block out 98% of UV rays. Add a hat and sunscreen application to the exposed areas and our kids are protected from the harsh Australian sun.

  • Sunbubs t-shirts are also sustainable. Currently, many of the uniforms and kids’ t-shirts at early learning centres in Australia are made from polyester or cotton.
  • Polyester can take up to 200 years to breakdown in landfill and once this occurs, can be toxic to our waterways.
  • The use of premium organic cotton to make Sunbubs, means a 91% reduction in water used to produce one of our shirts compared to one cotton t-shirt.
